Thank you for supporting the professions through your annual MSHA membership. Your active membership demonstrates your commitment to MSHA’s mission to serve and advocate for the needs of speech-language pathologists and audiologists and the clients we serve.
What does your $80.00 annual MSHA membership fee really buy?

MSHA member registration discounts for all MSHA continuing education programs, with over $100 savings on Fall Conference and Spring Convention.

New, self-paced Home Study Courses for either ASHA CEUs or BOT clock hours, highlighting the professional expertise of MSHA colleagues.
- New and ever-improving Web resources, including an online membership directory, a newsletter archive, a job board, links to useful professional sites, a calendar of MSHA events, and occasional e-mail blasts to announce time-sensitive or emerging “hot” issues.

Membership Dues
There are several options to choose from. For each membership type, annual dues apply for 12 months from your join date.

Member – $80
For persons who (1) hold a graduate degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, audiology, or speech and hearing science; or (2) hold a graduate degree and present evidence of active research, interest and performance in the field of communication disorders)

Associate – $70
For persons who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, audiology or speech and hearing science. Associate membership is not available to those who qualify for Member status.

Affiliate – $40
For any person with an interest in the field of communication disorders. This membership category is available only to persons not eligible for other categories.

Student – $20
For persons enrolled full-time in recognized training programs and preparing for a degree in communication disorders, speech-language pathology, audiology or speech and hearing science.

Life – $20
For persons who have been members in good standing for at least ten years and who have (1) reached the age of 60 years and retired from professional practice or have (2) been disabled and are unable to maintain professional practice.
- Associate Life – $20
For persons who have been members in good standing for at least ten years and who have (1) reached the age of 60 years and retired from professional practice or (2) have been disabled and are unable to maintain professional practice.
