About the MSHA Legislative Steering Committee

  1. Minimize and provide opposition to any proposed cuts in eligibility benefit sets, provider rate reimbursement and elimination of services as they relate to Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology services for enrollees in MN MHCP programs.
  2. Guard against amendments to the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology practices act.
  3. Collaborate with MAA, MOTA, MPTA, MACE, the MN Commission Servicing the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and other stakeholder organizations on potential legislation.
