MSHA’s annual Spring Convention features two full days of local and national speakers presenting on an array of subjects for speech-language pathologists and audiologists. The 2015 Spring Convention will offer the opportunity to earn CEUs and network at the Minneapolis Marriott Southwest in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
Challenge 2015 – 2015: Integrating Expertise to Improve Outcomes

Do you have the skills needed to succeed on interprofessional teams? Learn the why, what and how of interprofessional education and interprofessional collaborative practice (IPE/IPP) and join the discussion about how to foster integrative and collaborative teams in education and practice.
Attendees may choose from among 19 presentations across 5 sessions. There will be something for everyone — topics will include Speech, Language, Cognitive Rehabilitation, Fluency, Parent Coaching (a Hanen Centre presentation), Literacy, ASD, Feeding, Inter-professional Collaboration, and Practice Management. Attendees choose from among 9 small, moderated roundtable sessions, including such topics as stuttering, push-in service model, CFY, using APPs to help people after brain injury, bilingual/CLD, advocacy and doctoral study. Posters and Contributed Papers
Attendees may visit clinical case presentations and reports, research projects, treatment outcomes, interdisciplinary programs, evidence-based practice, and related professional activities. Forums and papers will be presented during the poster session on Friday, April 10 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm.

The Minnesota Speech-Language-Hearing Association honors membership from any state or provincial speech-language-hearing association. If you live outside Minnesota and are a member of such an organization, you qualify for the member registration. You must include some type of verification when submitting your registration. If you are a related professional accompanied by a MSHA member, you may register at the member rates.
